You’re not choosing from a catalog. Every piece is made one at a time, with your project getting my full attention from start to finish. I work with carefully selected, often locally sourced or salvaged wood, and let the material guide the design so the finished piece fits your space, your use, and your story. The result is something personal, well-made, and built to last.

Yes, in many cases. If you have a tree from your property you’d like incorporated into a piece, I’m happy to talk it through. I’ll need to assess the species, condition, moisture content, and whether it’s suitable for the type of work you’re envisioning.
That said, not every tree is a good candidate for every project. I’ll be honest about what’s possible, what isn’t, and what will result in the best finished piece. When it works, using your own wood can create something especially meaningful.
Most of the wood I use comes from locally sourced and fallen trees, including material salvaged from storm damage or removals. When it makes sense, I’m also happy to harvest trees directly from a client’s property. I work with responsibly sourced lumber when a project calls for it and use each piece intentionally, letting the wood’s character guide the final design.

The type of project and the finish used will determine the best care process. Check out our “Care and Materials” section for standard care options and I’m also happy to discuss each piece with you.

Yes. I work with interior designers on custom pieces designed for specific spaces, materials, and aesthetics. I also partner with businesses to create thoughtfully made wood products that can be used as client gifts, employee rewards, or branded pieces. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind commission or a small production run, I focus on quality, consistency, and work that feels intentional rather than promotional.
